
BTX is an industry leader in custom shading solutions with automated blinds and curtains. They wanted a brand video to demonstrate their 40 years of experience working closely with designers and architects to bring challenging, design-driven projects to life. Their reputation for being hands-on and deeply collaborative has led to their products being used in luxury homes, high-end hospitality, and large commercial environments around the world.
We wanted to highlight their team, their craftsmanship, and their installations—while setting the stage for a new marketing push tied to upcoming product releases and integrations with systems like josh.ai. We started by spending about a week working closely with the BTX team to shape the script—making sure the message matched their voice and the visuals reflected their process. Once approved, we filmed at their headquarters, capturing everything from meetings in their conference rooms to the day-to-day work happening in their warehouse and manufacturing area. To show their products in real environments, we hired models and filmed inside one of their client’s homes, documenting how people actually interact with their automated shading systems. The final footage blended their behind-the-scenes operations with real-world installations to give an honest picture of the company.
The video made its debut at the CEDIA Expo in Colorado, where thousands of industry professionals gather each year to see what’s new in residential and commercial AV technology. BTX featured the video at their booth, using it as a simple but effective way to introduce who they are and what they do. By the end of the event, the video and combined teamwork had helped them spark 25 new business relationships, each estimated to be worth around $50,000.
